History of Company
On 1rst of october 1948 ironworker's master Alfred Heidemann founded a factory in Kiel. He wondered through the destroyed city, laboriously repairing broken gas cookers, often matching parts of two devices in order to make a new, working one. After three years the first vehicle a "pace-tricycle vans" was purchased.
Alfred Heidemann was a pioneer and an entrepreneur. He was constantly on the lookout for new market niches. This was found in the range of gas devices for commercial establishments. Henceforth, he developed and manufactured gas devices and burner, for cooking, frying, grilling, holding warm, for useing in catering, in butcher shops, bakeries and confectioneries. In 1971 a new company's building in Raisdorf in Kiel was created.
To meet the increasing requirements of the still expanding market in 1994 a new factory was build in Klausdorf/Schwentine. Since 1994 HEIDEBRENNER develop and built high-quality devices for professional use in catering, kitchens and industri with the most modern machines and qualified employees. Throughout the years the HEIDEBRENNER has become the only company on the market which specialised exclusively in development and production of the gas devicesin Europe. The distribution of HEIDEBRENNER products runs over more than 3,500 trade partners in Germany, Europe and overseas.
Well-known hotel and restaurant chains trust to the technology of HEIDEBRENNER: Steigenberger, Robinson-Clubs, Hilton-Hotels, Hyatt-Hotels, Holiday-Inn and pthers. Alone in KaDeWe, Berlin, are more than 100 gas stoves of HEIDEBRENNER in use.
Also known top restaurateurs are successful with HEIDEBRENNER devices such as TV chef Johann Lafer, Maître Pierre Pfister; Feinkost Käfer; Jürgen Gosch, List, and others. Customer is also Horst Abel, of "Gastronomy-King" from Mallorca.
Our customers appreciate especially the unusually low default rate. This is achieved through 100% final inspections and unannounced inspections of two external institutes. The delivery and reliability of HEIDEBRENNER is almost proverbial.
In almost every bakery and confectionary in Germany you may find at least one gas cooker from HEIDEBRENNER. All gas crêpes from German production comes from the factory in Schwentinental.
A large part of the gas stoves in Asian restaurants have also been produced in Schwentinental. The "short-cooking" was developed by HEIDEBRENNER and get a new trend with interesting growth rates .
HEIDEBRENNER iis the "inventor" of big pans, with oversized dimensions up to Ø 2000 mm which get attention at festivals, markets and the Gastronomic.
Many users naturally name the cookers "my HEIDEBRENNER". We managed to make the trade mark HEIDEBRENNER extremely popular on the market. The dream of all marketing professionals was realized.

The effort to provide the clients with a modern designed devices was awarded with the "Product Design Award" on the CeBit in 1998. A high level jury awarded the coveted prize to HEIDEBRENNER.
